Redwood - Sky Offering

An ancient wizard retreats to the reaches far beyond the grasp of civilization, where he attempts to liaise with extraterrestrial entities.

An air of mystery spans this quintet of adventures in and beyond the scarlet skies. I can't help but feel that I'm soaring to places beyond comprehension as I listen to this. A large part of the fun here stems from how exploratory, wondrous, and perhaps slightly surreal the sound is.

Despite the "risk" of venturing into the unknown that tends to have a strong hold on the compositions, no dread or apprehensions can be detected. This is in every way a joyride with hints of sedation. The UFO is in no way a meditation classroom, but it has a penchant for inducing a sense of calm. This is great for those who are getting a bit stir crazy and want to go somewhere they've never been before but don't wish to get their heads cut off in the process.

Although a transient voyage, Sky Offering is a respite for the mind, something so many of us need in this day and age.
